On May 13–14, 2025, the picturesque town of Cori, Italy, hosted the third and final Transnational Project Meeting of the Erasmus+ GreenVET Pathway project. Organised by our Italian partners who are based in Cori, Polygonal, and supported by all project partners, the meeting brought together all representatives to discuss key milestones, share progress, and co-develop strategies for embedding sustainability into vocational education and training systems across Europe.
The first day began with a warm welcome, a collaborative agenda overview, and a light icebreaker to set the tone for productive discussions. The agenda quickly moved into substantial project content, where the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented evaluation results and key takeaways from the Community of Practice (CoP) developed within the project.
Attention then turned to the GreenVET online path. SYNTHESIS and Wisamar led sessions that recapped implementation guidelines and presented the technical structure of the platform. They also provided valuable instructions on selecting suitable visual resources and open educational resources for the digital platform, which will serve as a core tool for supporting VET institutions in their green transformation.
The afternoon sessions built upon these foundations by reviewing a curated collection of best practices and assigning responsibilities among partners for finalizing and uploading these examples. The day concluded with a collaborative effort to develop templates that will introduce interactive features into the online platform, setting the stage for the next steps in digital development.
The day ended at a picturesque winery in the beautiful Italian countryside, just outside Cori, where the organisations’ representatives had the opportunity to try an assortment of local wine and have a taste of delicious foods. In this relaxed atmosphere, everyone connected on a more personal level. These moments of genuine interaction laid the foundation for meaningful relationships that will ultimately benefit the project, fostering smoother communication and deeper collaboration.
On the second day, the focus shifted to project management and dissemination. A pair of dynamic workshops followed: one focused on generating innovative dissemination strategies for the project’s second year, and the other dedicated to outlining the development of an instructional video.
The meeting concluded with partners sharing outcomes from the workshops, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that defines GreenVET Pathway. As the project moves into its next phase, the discussions in Cori reaffirmed the consortium’s shared commitment to empowering VET institutions as drivers of Europe’s green transition.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our gracious hosts, Polygonal, for organizing such a well-planned and welcoming meeting. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality greatly contributed to the success of the event.
