Boroume (“We Can”) is a Greek non-profit dedicated to reducing food waste and food insecurity. It delivers this mission through food rescue and redistribution programs, farmer and field gleaning, public awareness and education initiatives, national partnerships to cut food waste, business certification schemes, and direct support to vulnerable individuals via supermarket vouchers. Boroume envisions a society rooted in volunteering and social solidarity, where food waste is unacceptable.
