Il progetto “Leave Zero Waste for the Future” è un partenariato Erasmus+ KA220 che coinvolge scuole e ONG di Italia, Spagna (coordinatore), Turchia, Lituania, Svezia e Austria per condividere esperienze sulla gestione dei rifiuti e la sostenibilità ambientale. L’obiettivo è far acquisire a insegnanti e studenti conoscenze e competenze su riciclaggio, gestione dei rifiuti, educazione nella natura, permacultura e approcci educativi non formali, integrandoli nei curricula scolastici. Il progetto include mobilità internazionali, webinar e produzioni di corsi online che saranno risorse condivise a livello nazionale ed europeo.

What is the resource about? (in English)

The project “Leave Zero Waste for the Future” is an Erasmus+ KA220 cooperation partnership involving schools and NGOs from Italy, Spain (coordinator), Turkey, Lithuania, Sweden and Austria to share experiences on waste management and environmental sustainability. The aim is to help teachers and students develop knowledge and skills in recycling, waste management, nature education, permaculture and non-formal learning approaches, integrating them into school curricula. The project includes international mobilities, webinars and the creation of online courses that will be shared as valuable resources at national and European levels.

Why is the resource useful for VET actors?

Questa risorsa è utile per gli attori VET perché illustra un progetto Erasmus+ focalizzato su gestione sostenibile dei rifiuti, riciclaggio e competenze ambientali, temi sempre più richiesti nei percorsi formativi professionali legati all’ambiente, all’economia circolare e alla green economy. Offre esempi concreti di mobilità internazionale, scambio di buone pratiche e produzione di risorse digitali che possono essere adattati o integrati nei curricula VET per rafforzare competenze tecniche e trasversali. In particolare, l’approccio pedagogico combinato di educazione formale e non formale supporta l’apprendimento attivo e competenze per la vita reale nei settori professionali verdi.

Why is the resource useful for VET actors? (in English)

This resource is valuable for VET actors because it presents a real Erasmus+ partnership project focused on sustainable waste management, recycling and environmental skills, which are increasingly relevant in vocational training programmes in environmental sciences, circular economy and green jobs. It shows how international mobility, exchange of good practices and creation of digital learning resources can be integrated into vocational curricula to boost both technical and transversal competences. The combined use of formal and non-formal education methods encourages active learning and development of real-world skills important for sustainability-oriented professions.
