Il progetto “Green Skills for VET” (GS4VET) è un partenariato Erasmus+ KA220 che coinvolge istituti di istruzione e formazione professionale di Italia, Portogallo, Slovenia e Croazia, insieme ad aziende manifatturiere di settori con forte impatto ambientale, per integrare la sostenibilità ambientale nei curriculum VET. Il progetto promuove la progettazione e sperimentazione di programmi di apprendimento su sviluppo sostenibile basati su casi reali di imprese, con attività work-based e problem-based, inclusi workshop e visite in aziende partner. Le attività coinvolgono anche studenti con bisogni educativi speciali attraverso metodologie didattiche inclusive, con l’obiettivo di allineare la formazione VET alle esigenze di “green skills” richieste dal mercato del lavoro.

What is the resource about? (in English)

The “Green Skills for VET (GS4VET)” project is an Erasmus+ KA220 partnership involving vocational education and training institutions from Italy, Portugal, Slovenia and Croatia and manufacturing companies from sectors with significant environmental impact, aimed at integrating environmental sustainability into VET curricula. The project supports the design and experimentation of learning programs on sustainable development based on real business cases, using work-based and problem-based approaches, including workshops and company visits. It also engages students with special educational needs via inclusive teaching methods, aligning VET training with the green skills demanded by the labour market.

Why is the resource useful for VET actors?

Questa risorsa è utile per gli attori VET perché offre un esempio concreto di come le competenze ambientali e di sostenibilità possano essere integrate nei percorsi formativi professionali in collaborazione con imprese reali di settori produttivi chiave. Il progetto GS4VET promuove approcci didattici innovativi (work-based, problem-based, flipped classroom) che aiutano gli studenti a sviluppare competenze trasversali e tecniche legate alla transizione verde, direttamente in contesti produttivi. Inoltre, l’attenzione all’inclusione e alla diversità rende utile il progetto per progettare percorsi formativi che rispondano alle esigenze di tutti i learner, comprese persone con bisogni educativi speciali.

Why is the resource useful for VET actors? (in English)

This resource provides vocational education actors with a clear example of how environmental and sustainability competencies can be integrated into VET curricula in partnership with real companies in strategic sectors. The GS4VET project supports innovative teaching methods (work-based, problem-based and flipped classroom) that help learners develop both technical and transversal green skills relevant to the labour market. Its focus on inclusion and diversity also makes it a useful model for designing training pathways that support all learners, including those with special educational needs.
